Bowlmor Lanes by Patrick (5/16/99) If Bowlmor was a a bar, I would suggest fire bombing it. The prices are outrageous, the beer is flat and the bartenders ignore you until you flick lit cigarettes at them. In addition to the aforementioned, you are constantly blitzed with worn out sounds of the 80's. Fortunately, there is just something about bowling to the soundtrack of the Reagan era... Check out Monday's "Bowl All Nite" (10pm to 4am) for only $14 (in this city, that's a bargain). But beware! Bowling in the near dark to the canned beats of techno is not for the feint of heart; it can throw even the most consistent bowler in to a pit of confusion. |
